We are over 130 coalition members throughout Snohomish County representing nonprofits, colleges, childcare centers, schools, libraries, family learning centers, collaboratives, and government interested in early learning excellence.
The Snohomish County Early Learning Coalition (ELC) exists to make excellence in early learning achievable and sustainable for every child in Snohomish County.
The ELC provides networking, support, education, and professional development for Early Learning professions.
The ELC holds monthly meetings on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 12pm to 1:30pm. Currently meetings are held on zoom.
The ELC also sends out a monthly newsletter where coalition members can share and learn about early learning activities, training and professional development opportunities and early childhood advocacy centered around Snohomish County’s unique challenges and concerns.
The coalition partners with the Washington Communities for Children (WCFC) and the Northwest Early Learning Coalition (NWEL) to advance state and regional early learning policies and initiatives.
